Introduction: Thyroid fine-needle aspiration cytology (TFNA) is a widely used diagnostic method that is generally safe. Aiming to reduce haemorrhage doctors frequently advise patients to withdrawal antithrombotic/anticoagulant (AT/AC) drugs before TFNA.
